A certified translation carries a signed statement from a qualified translator attesting to its accuracy. A sworn translation is produced by a translator officially appointed by a state authority and bears their official seal. Before we start, we confirm which one the receiving authority requires.
Do I need to send the original documents?
For a quote, a clear scan or photo is enough. Whether the original is needed for the final translation depends on the destination country and authority; in many cases a scan is sufficient.
Can the translation be combined with an apostille?
Yes. We can first obtain the apostille or legalization on the original document and translate it together with the stamp, so the whole set is accepted abroad.
